I believe that Smartphones like iPhone and Android phones has become one of the most popular mobile phone in the world. And have you think of what can iPhone do other then receiving phone calls, playing mini games and manage E-mail? This is another application that you may not think before. It controls helicopters! We are glad to tell you this new technology, what you need is just a helicopter, a signal transmitter and… your device. Yes, not only the iPhone, as long as your device can run the app. i.copter Syma, it becomes a transmitter!

There are several smart phone controllable models in the market these days, this time, it is the familiar RC toy factory–Syma presents this new flying method. It’s app i.copter Syma can control 4 3CH helicopter models so far (may get more and more if there is updates on the app.), they are S107G, S102G, S109G and S111G. Yes, you can control either one of them using your device. The application is available both on App. Store for Apple Devices, as well as the Android market for android devices. Itsn’t it attractive?

What’s more, you know some of the smartphones and apple devices like iPhone, iPad, iPod and itouch have gyro equipped? When you tilt the device towards left, the i-helicopter rotats left, and when you tilt the device towards, the helicopter flies towards!

Today our topic is some information about the Syma Micro Size Helicopter.
As you can see, begin from the left, they are S111, S109, S108, S107 and the S026.
They all can provide a stable flight for us and have their special features.
If you want to have the collection of them, let’s see how they can share the accessories.

This is the USB cable from the S107G, after the testing from RC FEVER, we find that all the Syma micro size helicopter can share the same USB cable, so that you only need to keep ONE USB cable for all five helicopters.

Above is the transmitter form the S026, it also can use in the S108, but the backward and forward trim button can only use in the S026.

For the S108 transmitter, it also can control the S026, but you can see the left and right top button have no trim so that cannot use this transmitter to enjoy full function of S026.

You may know this transmitter more, since it is the transmitter from S107. This transmitter can do more since it also can control the S109 and S111. If you have bought the S109, you only need to buy the S107 body from RC FEVER, and then you can enjoy one more helicopter. It can save more money.
After this testing, you only need ONE USB cable and TWO transmitters, then you can enjoy those FIVE helicopters. Fantastic right?

Today we will have a tutorial on how to allow you RC helicopter fly up side down, that mean inverted flight. Don’t think it is difficult, I believe all of you can do it. I use S108 for this tutorial since it has a light weight and it can provide a steady flight.

Use the screwdriver to remove four screws that indicated on the above photo.

Then you can have two side of blades, I called them blade set A and blade set B.

Lock back the blade set B on the upper part of the shaft by screwdriver.
Also lock the blade set A on the lower part of the shaft.

Finish! But remember that the control direction are all inverted, this also a chance to practice you hand. Let’s see the demonstration flight presented by RC Fever. Enjoy it.

Everybody knows the importances of the genuine product, the fake product always with the poor quality control and the producer never bear any responsibility of the helicopter after selling it.

Therefore, what we need is reduce the chance of buying those fake products to zero, for Syma S107, here is a easy method for you to idendify the fake product.

Firstly, I want to introduce this fake Syma S107 to you:

Then here are the snapshot of the genuine Syma S107:

Can you spot the differents between the fake and genuine one?

There a two significant differents:

1. The main blade holder of fake S107 is made of metal, the genuine one is in pure black colour.

2. The main blade of the genuine Syma S107 have a few lines about the warning. However, the fake one only have the word “WARNING”

Hope this article can help you and enjoy your helicopter.
